Yesterday @ 5:45 the Plant had an emergency shutdown. Water went from 55 to 30 in a matter of a half hour... lost a couple thousand smaller fish and a unconfirmed number of adults.   I guess smallies, cats, walleye, all sorts of fish "winter-up" there.

did you stand down stream with a landing net ???

I can just about imagine this happening. I know what it does to my shiners if I dont temper them before dumping into lake temperature water :-[
