I think there will be more lakes susceptible to the ice Tsunamis of 2013 this year.  Mille Lacs was featured on the news but it affected other lakes as well.  It is a natural phenomenon that is evident from pressure ridges surrounding lakes.  We had a couple of mild winters so people tend to forget.  Temps are predicted to be close to 70 degrees on Wednesday.  With the close to 3 ft. of pretty solid ice on a lot of the lakes the shore ice will start to recede fast .   My prediction is When the temps jump and we get a big wind the ice will go out fast.  It will blow out, crushing everything in the way.  These seasonal changes were never (well, not in the last 10 years out of 4.5 billion) as extreme when the incandescent light bulbs protected us.    :doah:
