Morrells and other Fungus

Getting to be that time soon! Anyone up for a get together shroom hunt or to share their experiences of when they start finding mushrooms and what else they may stumble across in the woods?

Im up for a gtg at one of your best spots.  Just kidding.  It would be fun to learn new spots and share info.  I try to get out as much as possible when my schedule allows.  Last year was one of my best and look forward to finding more fungus.

where do they like to grow??

Under trees.

I find most of mine near dead elm trees.  Up north by you, look around aspen or pople slashings.  The ones ive found up north are usually the half morel variety or also known as blacks.
