Fishing in the area had been sporadic again, with cool lake temps scattering the fish everywhere.
As of yesterday, the surface temperature rose about 4 degrees with sunlight and little wind.  A few larger bass were being caught on the reefs,  but walleye are still near shorelines in about 12-14 feet, and frequenting areas where rock piles come up to about 6 fow.
With some stability in weather coming, I expect the next few weeks to have above average fishing, barring some unforseen high winds and/or thunderstorms.  :happy1:
The best way I've found to fish this type of condition is to troll slowly with a light weight and plain hook tipped with a leech or minnow.
