I read this today in the Star Trib, finally someone brave enough speaks out....hello.   But yet there is another article in the same sports section on the MN Deer herd that it's the lowest in 32-years but all the blame is put on too many years of intensive Doe Harvesting of hunters and a few bad winters.  But NO mention of Wolves....little contradiction there huh...DNR.  Let's see here Wolves pursue Moose and Deer, the wolf population is the highest it's been in MN History and has been on a steady incline now for 40-yeas but yet the MN Deer Population is at it's lowest in 32 years ....Ummmm....Ironic how the MN DNR states a few years back that the wolf populations have maintained around 3000-wolfs for over a decade, then the Federal Gov. pulls Funding to States for wolf protection...lets MN now manage the wolf populations on its own with no more $$ dollars....then MN states that year...oh yea, the wolf populations are around 12-15,000 wolves, we'll start wolf lottery's now....Camp Riply's two weekend Bow hunt was a complete failure this year, lowest numbers in years and a lot of hunters saw more wolf tracks and wolves than deer........Go Figure huh...
