Wind. That sums up this report as The Roger McCandless Gary Heineman party that I guided can attest to. As strong a cold front as I can remember for July blew in with three days of up to 50 mph gusts made fishing very hard.. This is the first party that I have guided that did not get their full possession limit of walleye. Fishing went from good to poor with the wind limiting how and were we fished. Hopefully the next report will be more favorable as the wind is gone and the weather has turned the corner for the better. Stay tuned.
