Well me and my brother are bundling up and heading up to Devils Lake this weekend to give it a shot.  This will be both of our first times on devil for open water and I was wondering if there is any advice out there.

Thanks, Stnmtz

Where are ya staying?,good place to start is "Woodland Resort",either rent a cabin, camp or just put in there (creel bay),the submerged treeline along the west shore is very productive, walleye and perch, pike are everywhere on devils, then around the corner of creel bay is six mile bay,if you have good mapping data of devils you'll see some good structure here, submerged roads, fencelines, even rock piles that holds fish, make sure you have a good selection of jigging raps and bobber setups for fishing in the shoreline trees, you should do well if the weather is good.

were staying at Davis Motel in town.  We stayed at Woodland Resort this last winter and I was not impressed.  Nice rooms but there customer service sucked in my opinion.  They lost my business for a while at least.  I fished Creel and Six mile this winter so I at least know were there at.
