if u guys fish a relatively small lake with no structure whatsoever its just a bowl with a max depth of 15'  where do seem to find the big panfish this time of year  i should meantion it has weedy shallows

my guess would be try the deepest part of the lake, 2-4 ft off the bottom.

that should get you in the ball park.
if you have a sonar, your job will be a quick one.
the only thing I would worry about is winter kill. not this year, but in years past.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!
