with super snowstorm Kayla in our midst......no ranting????? at 12.25 here in ramsey we had neither a snow flake. by 12;45 the parking lot was completely white. some truck driver in the cities called radio station KQRS and ranted about drivers to flipping slow down. traffic here on hwy 10 just south of elk river is crawling.

heard the state may shut down all major roads south of hwy 14 in the southern part of the state.

511.org looks like a rainbow with all the road conditions.

DRIVE HOME SAFE MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!

I will give you a weather rant.  This snow has been predicted for at least a week.  This is the mildest winter I can remember in the now 56 years of my life.  We have had 3 maybe 4 minor snows on a work day.  They all stopped traffic cold.  I have not seen a plow or a salt truck all winter.  It hasn't been cold enough for chemical treatments not to work.  It is an FNOBOMINATION that this state comes to a standstill from a couple of inches of snow.  Old  Google Eye's has run this state into the ground.  They were closing schools at 4pm yesterday.  They should have been pre treating roads.   :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

I agree DDS.  For the first time this year I watch the Union geniuses out plowing a dusting on the road.  Sparks were flying as I watched this winner make sure the budget is getting used up as we wouldn't want anything redused if they didn't use the allocated funds for the year.

:bonk:  I know Glenn.   At least with the Fed, state and city employees not working tomorrow I should be able to go 20 miles in about 1h if I take the back roads.    :bonk:

By me they salted all the roads in town 2 days in a row including side streets. Never saw a snow flake. But it did rain with lightning and thunder for the last 2 days. :banghead:

Sounds like 5000 things to make mini basketballs to keep the plow driver I saw back in the shop shooting baskets.  He/she was obviously not capable of understanding plowing bare tar is not a job requirement. :doah:
