We are thinking of taking a trip either to Laughlin or Las Vegas.  I see there are package deals and you can even fly out of places like Int. Falls or Bemidji.  We are not big on gambling but would like to fly somewhere affordable and enjoy some great eating spots etc.  Laughlin on the river would be cool.  Don Laughlins Riverside had some good deals.  He is a MN guy who I think started the whole show in Laughlin Nevada so that might be the way to go.  Let me know if you have been to either and would you go back.

I've had to go to Vegas for work. Gambling stinks. People watching is awesome. If you go I suggest a tour of the Hoover dam. And I think a grand canyon tour! Need to do that one yet. Personally I wouldn't go there for a vacation.

A fellow from Owatona,Mn bought the land in 1964,
Personally I'd go there and vegas is a zoo in comarison.Course last time I was there>>Bullhead city in 2001<< Where a lady friend conned me in to buying 5 acres a land from her new realestate company as co owner in 1981. Laughlin took off Bullhead city is sparce an empty!!
Lots a new eateries that compare wit vegas, without the crowds.
If you can fish the river go for it!! Lots a stripers small to 30-40 lbs Huge sunnies if they are found.
I lived out that way for 4 years and in SoCal for 6 years,I'd go just to be on the river!!!!!
I been to both worked in Vegas (construction) The locals dont go downtown or the strip a zoo to them.Laughlin try it out!!

We are thinking Laughlin too.  Seems like a little more laid back.  Maybe we can walk to more places there.
