 We did pretty well yesterday in the arctic conditions

 With -40+ windchills we set out for a crappies and Gills

 After only one move and re-drill, with some luck I put us right on top of some action.

 40ft of water and the fish 6ft off the bottom, we managed 8 nice Gills and 7 Crappies in about 4 hours

 A waxy and a small pink jig was the ticket, spring bobber, 2# blue Southbend Ice line and a light action pan fish rod

 Heading back out, the trucks running and just have to load the sled. I'll post up later this afternoon/evening

Hey, next weekend you have to come over here. I'm planning a little excursion over near Ashland for lakers and browns thru the ice.  I have good intel that they have been biting.
