 I noticed sumac seeding out on the south an west facing slopes around here.If you want try a great seasoning  for a rub or meats an fish pick the sumac seed pods.Grind em and use em. The native peoples used em all the time smart people! I will be taking 2-3 large pods myself.

Tough question,Lemony,citrus not as acidic.Pick some dry,grind it make a cup a tea.If the seed is white thats the poison stuff only pick rust/redish color
