I guided repeat customer Carrie her son and his friends for full possession limits of real nice walleye in not so crowded waters on Sharpe. It was a middle of the week trip so without the big crowds limits were much easier to come by. Caught these fish in 3 fow to 10 fow using nightcrawler bouncer rigs and got some pulling flicker shad plugs in around 10 fow. Nice fish for a real nice family trip. The bite on Oahe should be starting up with fall temps starting to arrive but right now it is still spotty. The same for the Salmon fishing. Lots of fishermen using the Pierre area especially on weekends so be prepared to fish among boats if fishing Sharpe. If this is bothersome to you Oahe is almost traffic free and if you land on fish that are up out of the 70 feet water you can put a nice stringer of walleye, smallmouth, and northern together.
