I only have a report for Friday as we had equipment problems and had to go home Saturday.  Two guys out over the bridge about 4 miles out.  7 crappies and 4 keeper walleyes.  We missed maybe another 3-4 fish that looked like crappie bites.  Most of the crappies were caught between noon and 5:00 p.m.  Nothing in the evening.  The rattling varmint brought in a few fish and then they bit on the dead stick although one was caught on the varmint.  Glow demon jigs with the green dot seemed to work the best.  It was pretty cold with the wind chill but inside the hard house it was toasty.  The next trip will be President's Day weekend.  You definitely need an extension, especially if you are drilling inside a hard house or on rough ice.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly as much fun.? Robert Traver "Anatomy of a Fisherman"
