5/26/17

 :coffee: .....
Rural Pillager farmer Mark C. Maine watches a mature bald eagle leave it's cage Wednesday near the spot where he discovered it in a trap on May 8. The family members released it from the trap and kept it safe until Minnesota DNR Conservation Officer Bob Mlynar could pick up the bird and deliver it to Wild and Free in Garrison. With good food and antibiotics, it recovered. Volunteers Jim Lease and Becky Miller delivered the bird to the release site Wednesday. As it left the cage, an eagle soared above the area observing the scene. :happy1:
