I'm going to give this a whirl at the Lake this weekend.  Dr. Bob & Xplorer will be my guinee pigs.  I've made this with round steak and it's awesome.  Don't get turned off by the big list of ingriendents.  You probably have everything in the cupboard:

Venison Stroganoff

2 1/2  #  Venison Steak or Roast
1 bottle of marinade
2 tsp Salt
3 T Flour
4 T Butter
Package of precut frsh mushrooms
2 Med. Onion
1 Clove Garlic
1/8 tsp Pepper
2 T Paprika
½ Pint Sour Cream
2 1/2 Cups Bouillon
1Tbls Creamy Horseradish
Cooked Egg Noodles

Cut Venison into one inch strips and marinade overnight.

Dredge stips in flour, brown in butter.  Add onion, mushrooms & seasonings.  Sauté till soft. Put garlic in right at the end.

Add bouillon and simmer slowly for 1 hour.

Add Sour Cream & 1 Horseradish

Serve over Egg Noodles

Enjoy!!

My initial response was to sue her for defamation of character, but then I realized that I had no character.

That sounds awesome. I filled the freezer last week, so I'm definitely going to give this a try.

Thanks

I may have a couple extra packs of steak lying around. I was in the garage late last night skinning and boning out my 3rd deer of the year. :P

I may be getting a lot of burger and sausage made. ;D
