2018 Deer Hunting Thoughts

Would like to hear what you think the 2018 deer seasons meaning bow gun muzzy and I think it's going to be very good. One thing that caught my eye in the 2018 regulation booklet was there's parts of all of 17 counties no deer feeding. No problem that boundary isn't too far away from me. Anyway, why is there a ban on using like urine doe urine let's say ? If they feel that's a reason potentially for cwd or any of the deer diseases and who knows but why wouldn't the whole state immediately ban that crap ? Deer farm deer urine that should be banned or not banned statewide don't you think ?

K.O.W.  This is actually the second year of the feeding/minerals ban in the affected counties.  This was brought on by the seemingly endless "escaped" deer from a "farm" that had deer tested positive for CWD.  This has got to stop.  At this point, any steps that may stop the introduction of CWD in the deer herd should be taken.

the last 3 deer seasons at least, the #1 violation was hunting over bait. bait attracts more deer, more deer more chance of spread of desease.

i use deer scents but i believe the scents illegal come from farm raised critters. at this point in my life i just gun hunt, its not here yet so i havent gotten to deep into the regs.

In the area I hunt there is NO "feeding of any kind" NO "minerals, or salt licks" and NO "using any scent made from animal fluids"
