I am getting a box out today to put my stuff in as I think of it.  Hey I better shoot the guns too.  I have to use my slug gun when I hunt the Luverne area.  I have an Ithaca Deer Slayer with a 1.5 - 5 power scope.  Have had it for 30 years.  Love the gun.  Thanks for the heads up on that GG.

Glen-all I can tell you for sure is we'll be at the cabin darkish.  I bid on a portable blind on K-bids and find out if I won it tomorrow.  If so, I want to go out pretty late in the afternoon/evening on Friday and set it up. Hoping nobody steals the danged thing!

Well, we hit it hard for the opening weekend, but didn't  have any luck. Very little  shooting, with none in our immediate area.  Didn't seem like there were as many guys in the area.  I had one deer walk in behind me Saturday and bust me.  I think I levitated about a foot off my chair when it snorted at me the first time. Saw it's flag twice, but no chance for a shot.  We have a very good time.  Two of my son's buddies and my BIL and me made up the group.  Nice to see some more young blood getting involved.  My son Eric wore my dad's old red and black plaid Woolrich hunting coat.  Man, he looks just like my dad.  Nice to see Dad's gear hitting the woods  again.
