On the way in to grouse hunt today, I saw where a truck drove up to my new gate.  Foot prints went around the gate and I could see where a deer was dragged out on a sled.  I followed the trail onto a our field where I found a gut pile.  From the looks of it, the deer was shot yesterday morning.  It appears to be a small doe or nubbin buck as the gut pile was very small.  I hope the guys can brag about their great hunting adventure.   :angry2:

O $hit. More cameras? I'd really inform the CO's at this point, if you haven't already...they can do a tag run check for that day...

Yup I agree with Rebs.  Contact the authorities.  Being a nice guy means a trail will appear around the gate.  It is your land not theirs.

I would get a trail camera that sends pictures over the cell towers. Then you would know when ever someone is there and have pics of them and license plates. When enough of them get pinched maybe the word will get out to stay the hell away from there.  :angry2:

I'm pretty sure I may have pictures.  I didn't pull the card(s) yesterday but will next time I get there.  Because I went there with friends to hunt grouse, I didn't want to spend a lot of time investigating this kill.  Otherwise I would have spent more time to determine just what went down.  Turds

It would be so sweet if there was a CO waiting for those guys next time they came off your property.

snow1,
Yes, there is signage and it is ag land so it really doesn't have to be posted.  They would have no excuse for either as their tracks are within inches of the sign.  :tut:

Hey we could get part time jobs watching the gate then.  Is there a pool table and a TV in there Rebs?   I would like a cot too in case I need a nap.

Oh ya!  May be a good excuse to go buy that Colt Python, stainless.  It would then be a business deduction!  I have dropped some hints to the wife that I really would like to buy one someday.  I don't get much of a response from her.   AND yes Rebs I was thinking we need cooking facilities in there too.  I love KFC.
