The WI trout opener was last Saturday and I made it out with a friend to the Kinni. We went out of the River Falls areas. Our ideal spot was unreachable due to unplowed roads. Anyways, it was a cold day but nice to get out again. Unfortunately we didn't catch a thing. Was a nice day though. Hopefully next time with a little warmer temps the fish will be more active. I think it got up to like 15 degrees when we were there.

The pictures you posted look great and make me wish I had gone fishing and not skiing last weekend.

This weekend should be warmer.  Hopefully, the snowmelt is slow to keep the river clear.

Damn cheese heads. Wisconsin is for wack mc's. Ya'll aught to spend a lil more $ on gas and go out to Montana if you want some good out of state Fly Fishing. Just an 18 hour drive and you'll have the time of your life. When I lived in MN, I'd go down to Rice Street on a Thursday afternoon and score some crank, then make the drive. I'd be back home by late Sunday night and have some seroius fishin stories to tell. Usually they would involve big rainbows or browns, but if all else failed, I'd at least have a good tale to tell about the hookers in Billings.
Aint nuthin but a "G" thang.
