This morning my brother in law found out why you should quit calling when a tom is gobbling and coming in to the decoys.  He had one bobbling to his left and crossing to his decoys.  He hit the call and the turkey took one look at him and blew out of there.  I told him that the tom wasn't interested in some stiff cold decoy when he could possibly have the real thing.   :rotflmao:
