The exact opposite of what we are hearing from the media and from Democrats (Gallup). Meanwhile, Portland homicides are through the roof (Twitter)

The Minneapolis advisory committee responsible for reviewing whether or not Defunding the Minneapolis Police Department and replacing them with some sort of Department of Public Safety has wisely decided to NOT allow this measure to be on the ballot this fall.

It is easy to get caught and say we need something new, but without sufficient time to discuss the root problems, options and proposals, asking the mob to decide this now would be disastrous.

The vote was 10 to 5.  I was afraid it was going to be closer than that.  Yes, good someone is still thinking instead of reacting.  It is clear that the members of the Minneapolis City Council don't as they voted unanimously to defund back in June.
