For several years, CWD has existed in South Dakota. Recently, SD GFP has ramped up our CWD testing. A big part of this effort is hunter harvested deer. There are several ways hunters can have their deer tested. This video shows step by step instructions on how to remove your deer lymph nodes and submit them for testing.

Do all deer have to be tested?

No, only in high CWD detected areas. But if you want to be sure the video above show you how to collect the Lymph Node to be tested.
