I spent 2 1/2 hours in a bear stand this morning. No bears but did see a four buck bachelor group. They were about 80 yards away but I was so surprised to see them I forgot to take a photo.  Couple nice looking forks, one very tall 6 point and a nice 8-10 pointer.  I also saw two does in the same area.  It was too warm and I was too tired to deal with a dead bear tonight so I just baited and left around 4 PM.  I wonder what hunters do if they would shoot a bear near sundown on a day like today.  I would not be to excited to track a bear after dark and with this temp it would be spoiled by morning.

Ya, you would have needed to get the bear found and skun out to cool down. Not good to leave a bear with hide on until the next day even when it is cool out. So much fat that insulates them.
Hey look your bobber is up!
