1. The idiot left the truck in the middle of the road.  Hard to believe it was completely undriveable.
2.  Why did the semi just run into it?  There was noone in the left lane where he could have gone to avoid it.

Dang! The truck driver is lucky the guy was out or I’m guessing he’d be going away for a while.

Working on a volunteer FD, I’d never stay in a disabled vehicle on a road nor would I help someone with a disabled vehicle on road. Seen this too many times. Went on a call where someone helped push a car off the road that stalled at dusk from a dead battery…double amputation. So it again a few year ago, on that one we had two guys lose three legs. 

P.s not sure we can call the stalled driver an idiot for leaving his truck there. Very could have been undrivable.

I'm thinking he was smart for getting out. It must happen more than we think pulleye,  I worked with a fella that had a single amputation,  pushing someone out of the way and BAM, some chick on her phone ends his career.
