Lately most mornings this friendly beaver visits us at the landing hauling branches.  It was finally light enough and it stayed up long enough for me to get a picture of it.

At first look, thought it was an agitator or crorkindill, as Peggoty in
David Copperfield called them. No crockydials there! Just a toothsome beaver!  ;)

I've been trying for several weeks now, this is the closest it has gotten to me and it dived right after I clicked.  I'm trying really I am, and yes, the fishies don't bite when it is around.  Even the experts have been having clean offs.

It's all good G.T. thanx for sharing, guessing the beve has a river bank den rather a house nearby bringing some young green branches for his/her family is my guess.

I like the shot you got cause it has the food stick in its mouth.  Nice.
