This was my first try at a Euro Mount.....
Ok, well I failed!

I left the head in the freezer to long before attempting to get it done. The nose section disintegrated and looked like crap.

So, I decided to get a after market skull.
It turned out better than I thought.

It is my daughter's first buck, and it was in the freezer for 2 years. It freeze dried.

Just curious...  How many of us guys here have or had that same orange/autumn deer picture you have hanging below the mount?

I used to have that picture hanging in my bedroom when I was a kid.  I got it for Christmas or my birthday one year.  It must have gotten donated during one of my parents house moves because they no longer have it.

The one I have in the picture?

They threw this one in the dumpster at work, and I went diving to save it. I googled it, and it's 40-60 bucks $$$

So you mean the skull is what you bought and then put her rack on that skull?   If so good idea.   I like those Euro mounts.  The only way I would do it now.

Yup, that's what I had to do
