We elevated a black plastic Booner blind that was sitting on the ground for the past two hunting seasons. Now you can see better and when you shoot, the bullet will angle towards the ground because of the five foot height elevation. Excited to see if this helps spot a deer sooner. It is in a spot where we regularly get deer on the game camera.

Any amount of Elevation will help with the view. Unless this stand is for a Older or Younger hunter I'd elevate it another 5-6 Feet. That will give you a even better view and get your scent up away from ground level as well.

Good advice FishThumper. I really like the idea of bullet angle into the ground. Safer for all around.
