A buddy and I made it out today. We ended up with 15 crappies and a jumbo perch. we also caught 2 walleyes and a small northern.  It was a bit chilly out there but i would take -10 for fishing in April   ;D

The ice was ok still.  Had about 3" of ice for the first 20' or so then it was roughly 12-14" after that.  We did see one snowmobile go across the lake but i would advise leaving the weeler or snowmobile behind cuz there are open spots near points and open holes under the snow.

If you go,  use caution. And have fun.
