  Well... I grew up in Mn. and moved down to Florida for 7 years. When I first moved down there I worked as a pool boy looking out at the Gulf of Mexico and daydreamed about working on one of the many charter boats I could see all day long. After I got off work I'd go down to the docks to watch the boats unload. I got to know the fish and the people who worked on them real quick. One day I got lucky and a captain got sick of me bugging him for a site and gave me a job. I spent 3 years working the boats then decided to get my U.S.C.G. 100 ton masters lic. (Captains lic. so to speak) and yep... ran boats for the next 4 years. So all the deck hands called me captkev (sounded like one word) The rest is history
