here are pics of the big catch......... as you can see they are bullheads but at this time of year they are tasty if you catch em later in the year they taste YUCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont eat em all the time just at this time of year cause they dont taste like crap like they do later in the season now that i got three this will be all til next year

Don't knock them until you have tried them bonehead. There are places up here that have bullhead fries. Ofcourse it is usealy a bar and you can't have any until you've had 6 beers.lol

My Grandpa cleaned and cooked a bullhead for me once. It was really good! This was mid-summer. He skinned it and then cubed it I believe. It was a long time ago but was good!

Many years ago I came home with a half dozen or so bullheads and my dad smoked them. As I recall they were very tasty.

so how do you clean them ??

We usually take a pliers and just peel the skin back.

Up in OTC they line up at the docks when the COs are pulling nets in for stripping walleyes and they give out the bull heads and other unwanteds.
