Lake Geneva Report 06/04/07

Better late than never report. Fished on Monday with Jeff and Tim Carlson along with their pal Jim. The morning started off well until the weather started to turn nasty. Dark sky's started building in the west followed by lightning strikes in the distance. After taking a vote we opted to head about 4 miles down to the other end of the lake where it took a good 25 minutes for the rain to catch us.

The smallies really began to turn on with a lot of larger ones moving into the area. We were going strong when another passing boat spotted the net out and decided to do a U-turn and cash in on the action. They were also doing well but every smallmouth they caught found it's way to their cooler. "O'well to each his own I guess!

We fished most of the day in the rain, but the Sun Gods were shining on our boat most of the day. We worked 13 to 20 fow with Carolina rigged crawlers and some small 1/8th oz stand up jigs and plastic.
