Wednesday 6/20/07 Report.

I teamed up with Geneva guide Doug Becker for a group outing. Doug had a navy seal in his boat so I'm sure they had some great navy stories to swap since Doug was in the navy. His other client was a shrink so he managed to keep those guys under control.

My three guys were all members of Chicago's finest and sure appreciated a day away from crime fighting. These guys could fill you with stories that would make your head spin.

The fish are continuing to gorge themselves on cicadas and the bite is tuff for everyone. At days end both boats reported about the same results. Happy clients and enough game fish to satisfy everyone. We fished live bait and Doug's team worked artificial baits. We covered a whole lot of water today and only crossed paths once all day.

Marking tons of fish with most being suspended. The ones that are closest to the bottom are the fish that interest me the most.

See ya on the water,

Lee

The greatest losses an angler can sustain are those of his patience and good temper; they are worth a cartload of fish
