Have a opportunity to stay at a place on East Battle Lake come mid June of '08 for 2 weeks. Would like some info on the lake and surrounding lakes. We love to fish for walleye, smallies, and panfish (crappie/gills). This will be the first time in this area. Just doing some searching before we decide to lock in a place to stay. ;)

great area...  In June you should still be hitting the walleyes on Battle, Ottertail and Rush.  the sunnies are nice on Clitheral and Molly Stark.
Stop at Ben's bait and tackle and talk to anyone in there, they steer you in the right direction too.  There are tons of good lakes around there too, and east and west battle are great too.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Definitely stop in at Ben's Bait. They are very helpful there!
