Thursday  August 23 - Volunteer Orientation

5:30 - 6:00pm Goodie bag stuffing and get acquainted time
6:00 - 8:00pm Dinner and orientation by Bob Slaybaugh and FHNB
committee members. Get all of your questions answered.

Friday  August 24 - 1st event day

2:00 - 6:00pm Check-in begins (Cabin & fishing partner assignments)
2:00 - 5:00pm Games for anglers at Lodge and Beach
3:00 - 5:00pm Glass-bottom boat rides on Sylvan Lake - Camp Beach
3:00 - 5:00pm DNR fish netting & educational fishing
activities (MinnAqua) - Camp beach
5:00 - 6:00pm Dinner - Mariucci Lodge
6:00 - 6:30pm Welcome & Orientation
6:30 - 7:00pm Special Guest Speaker - Steve Quinn

7:00 - 7:30pm Get acquainted activities, campfire & S'Mores by the lodge.
7:30 - 8:30pm Special guest entertainer: Sing-along with "Johnny Jay" by the campfire

Saturday  August 25 - 2nd event day

6:30 - 8:00am Breakfast and final check-in
8:00 - 8:10am Group photo
8:10 - 8:30am Equipment loan / Angler pairing / Announcements
9:00am Fishing on Sylvan Lake and Gull Lake Chain begins
11:30am - 1:00pm Shore lunch - Camp Confidence beach (for those
fishing on Sylvan Lake)
11:30am - 1:00pm Lunch - Bar Harbor Supper Club, Ernie's on Gull,
or Zorbaz on Gull (for those fishing on the
Gull chain)
2:00 - 5:00pm Games by the Lodge
3:00pm Fishing ends - return to Mariucci Lodge
4:00 - 5:00pm Equipment return, fish cleaning, clean-up
5:00pm Color Guard ceremony, Pledge of Allegiance & National Anthem
5:15 - 6:00pm Dinner - Mariucci Lodge
6:30 - 7:30pm Evening social event - Mariucci Lodge
Introductory remarks and memorials
Participant & volunteer recognition
Fish tales ? tell your best story!
Door prize drawings (Boat captain & Volunteer)
Closing remarks
7:30 - 8:30pm Campfire, Root Beer Floats by the lodge
Special guest entertainment: "Southern Comfort Band"

Sunday  August 27 - For those staying over Saturday night

7:00 - 8:30am Continental breakfast in the Mariucci Lodge.

we are still looking for boat captions if you have a boat and are willing to come to the brainer lakes for the weekend we would like to have you..

if you are from out of town you can p.m me and i will see if i can put you up for the weekend..

well for the 43 that had read this post if you did not sign up your not to late ...


oh by the way if you are looking for a way to deduck this on your taxs it's volenter which means you can take it off on your taxs if you want..


don't have a boat thats no problem just show up and ask where you are needed ether friday night or sat. morning !!!! :rock:

well for the ones who missed this this year it was a lot of fun even if it was a little warm this afternoon .. :rock:

many fish were caught on Gull and Sylvin including
Walleye
Northern Pike
and pan fish

this i was cleaning fish for well over 2 1/2 hours before the 2nd shift took ovand finished it up ..
