NASCAR-If the Chase started today
If the Chase for the Nextel Cup started today (after Bristol results), this is how drivers would be ranked:

2 Jimmie Johnson, 4, 5,040
3 Tony Stewart, 3, 5,030
4 Carl Edwards, 2, 5,020
5 Kurt Busch, 2, 5,020

7 Martin Truex Jr., 1, 5,010
8 Matt Kenseth, 1, 5,010
9 Kyle Busch, 1, 5,010
10 Jeff Burton, 1, 5,010
11 Kevin Harvick, 1, 5,010

The "seeding" entering the Chase will be determined by the number of wins drivers accumulated over the first 26 races of the season, plus the standard tiebreaker of best finishes [like most 2nd's, etc]
