Is anyone heading out this next weekend?

I heard the Crappies were in full swing this past weekend. Shallow water 3 - 7ft they did the best. All but one of the crappies were under 12 inches. They were all slabs. Lost a lot because they were so big and hard to pull out. Maybe some stronger line might do the trick. The fish were really stacked in some willows and everytime they would bit they would dive into the thickness and get hung up. Fish were biting all day and the evening prooved to be spectacular. Not sure if this cooler weather will slow them down but it was nonstop on Sunday.

I heard the same reports from 2 different bait shops in the area, the Walleye opener was awesome with most anglers getting limits, the local area lakes are all on fire for panfish too.
