Thursday 6/21 report Lake Geneva

Today being the first official day of summer I opted to fish Summer patterns all day. For me this means fishing in no less than 25 FOW. I was accompanied by frequent flyer client John Shemickle ( shrek). I love when John tells me " maybe we should try another spot". That usually signals to me that something good is about to happen soon. Well, today was no exception with Shrek tying into a huge walleye.

About that time is when I usually chine in saying "well lets cut your line and get the heck out of here if you want to try another spot". We also managed some nice smallies and largemouth today. Early morning provided the best action with cloudy skies and a medium chop on the water. Around 10:00 am West winds changed to North/North East and the sun was a shinin.

The big eye was caught in 28 ft on a crawler and Carolina Rig. Casting and working very slowly back to the boat. Let's not forget a little air injected into the crawler with a spritz of Bang garlic spray.

29 inches 9.25 lbs.

See ya on the water,

Lee

I'll be heading up to the BWCA on Friday so I won't be posting any reports till the last week in July. Good fishing to all.

Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time.
