Thurs. 9/6 report.
Today I fished with 84 yr old Ed Siercki and his partner Joe. We fished today from 6:30 am to 11:30 am. The water temps were back up from 75 degrees a few days ago to 77 degrees today. With the heavy chop and overcast skies we fished from 25 to 30 ft. Joe caught a nice 32 inch pike while targeting the smallmouths. We wound up with 32 smallies, of those only 12 were legal size. Many of today's fish were caught dead sticking with that old "do nothing presentation."

No giants caught today, but still a lot of fun watching the acrobatic displays that these bronze backs put on. Our best smallie was 18 1/2 inches and with the cooler weather around the corner the best is yet to come.

See ya on the water, Lee

She was so ugly, even the tide would not take her out!
