I was gone for most of the week fishing up on the east side of Lake Vermillion as well as on the Vermillion River.  Had a great time and did pretty good.  Got 8 - 16 inchers on the lake to keep that were below the 17 to 26 inch throw backs.  Then really got into them on the river with over 20 walleyes in 2 days with most in the 18 to 22 inch range with the biggest being 24 3/4.  Also got a 35, 36 and 40 inch pike.  Allota fun!

Before I headed up north, there were several people coming into the bait shop to get crawlers...report was the walleyes were hitting really well off School point.  I was still doing well off of the beach late in the night.

I hope to get out some this week and will give updates if any.

if you have any reports...please post them.
