SPICER - Mel?s Sportshop, Hwy 23 and Ruth Street (320-796-2000) Fishing has remained good all week. There was a slow down on the weekend with three days of nonstop rain. Those that went out still caught fish, but the action was spottier. Nest Lake Bay is still good for crappie and sunfish. Some crappies are still being caught on West Norway Lake near the boat access. A minnow along the reed edge is best here. The North Bay on Lake Andrew has been fairly consistent for small Sunfish and decent sized crappies. Some nice crappies are coming from the Crow River Bridge near Mud Lake. Foot Lake has also been good for crappies with people catching them from shore. Black Flu Flu?s seem to be a hot bait right now, other good baits have been white and yellow Flu Flu?s, Timberwolve flies, Northland jigs and Delong lures.

Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!
