Friday 9/14 report. One year ago today I fished with Todd Zeller and his dad Bob and they decided to recapture that moment by doing it again today. The fishing was awesome along with the size of the white caps. The old saying that "The fish are either in the deep, the shallow or somewhere in-between" Could not be more correct with today's action.

We caught smallies from 41 ft to 18 ft. Today's totals were 18 legal size with 32 smaller ones. We only fished 3 spots today and all were working well. I'm sure that some of you have noticed that when the smallmouth are feeding heavily in an area the rock's and gills don't seem to be around. We also wound up with 4 cut offs. No need to guess what they were from. We fished from 5:30 am till 12:30 pm. It was a good feeling to get the boat on the trailer at day's end after the pounding for 7 hrs. Crawlers and leeches were used today and both worked well.

See ya on the water,

Lee

Please take a kid fishing......It's good for you too!
