Friday 9/21 Report:

Fished 9/19 and client was ill so we cut it short after 3 hours fishing and 11 smallmouth, 2 largemouth and 3 northerns. Fished 9/20 with The "G" Man and his partner Jerry with good success. Final result 25 smallies and 2 happy anglers.

Today I welcomed aboard new comers Kris & Ray Majeski. Anyone that was out today can tell you that we all experienced some heavy winds with no shortage of whitecaps. Kris and Ray were up to the challenge managing to catch some nice smallmouth. Well, actually Ray and I did more cheerleading and netting than catchin since Kris taught us a lesson in humility. I can't tell you how many times the ladies out fish the guys in my boat.

It's not just a coincidence either. The women listen to fishing instructions better than the guys and ask questions. In defense of the guys though, that's simply because we already know everything.

We fished in 27 ft casting the Carolina rigs and working them extra slow back to the boat. While watching the electronics I could see the smallies when they were hanging directly below the boat and we would quickly reel in the extra line and let hang 1 ft off the bottom. Then sit back and watch the rod tip bounce and slowly bend. That's when we would dip and sweep. Final count 21 smallies

See ya on the water,

Lee

For the rich there's therapy, for the rest of us there's Fishing Lake Geneva!
