GRAND RAPIDS GROUSE HUNTING
Hey guys,
Anyone got some tips for grouse hunting this weekend up in Grand Rapids.  DNR surveys say that grouse population is up around 150%.

I have been working down in mcgregor for the past two weeks and I have seen chickens almost every day.
just north and west of town, north on cty rd 62 there is a public area on the right. I have seen quite a few right there.

haven't seen to many around here, north of grand rapids, but I havent gotten off the roads yet either sad2.gif

They got a bunch 3+ weeks ago, but last weekend with the rainy / cool weather they were deep.  I hope to get out for a few hours next weekend and try to put lunch on the table.  All I can say is CLOVER CLOVER CLOVER!!!!  :whistling:
