What size hole is he cutting.  They say 5" of ice but  think thats thickness.  Im just guessing but it looks like a 4" hole.

It looks pretty cool...but correct me if im wrong, but cant ya just lift the auger out or give the throttle a bump after ya get thru the ice to clean out the slush in the hole? The only time I have to scoop is if ya knock ice back in the hole or if ya shut it down quick if yer augerin inside a house....and yeah, that does look like a 4" auger....I wonder how close my elect. jiffy would do to that with a smaller auger on it....I know i'd do better than the electric drill that yohan is using!   -thunderpout
