Outstanding...

The plowed roads are open and there is plenty of ice.  Yesterday all houses produced limits of both walleye and sauger.  Our houses are spread from 18 to 30 feet of water off of Pine Island.  The fish are active and moving as both shallow and deep houses are getting action, albeit often at different times.  Small jigs, gold or white with fat head or shiner are the ticket.  Jigging raps will bring'em to the house but fish preferred the jigs and hooks.  Bring the electronics and look for the cruiser 8 - 10 feet off the bottom, those are the big fish.
