We had a great turnout - all time high - for the fishing derby in Pine City last weekend. It's great to support the Snake River Valley Conservation Club. They have been putting one fish crib a year in both Cross and Pokegama Lakes for quite a few years now. If you are at the Pine County Fair in August stop at their building and check out the maps of the crib locations. It is on permanent display.

I made it out to the contest.  I didn't catch anything but it was a good time anyway.  Looked like a good turn-out!  Maybe next year!
