Just got back from a week in Mazatlan Mecico and got to go out  for a day of fishing.  We 2 skip jacks on line at once but one got off.  Then we had a Mako shark on line and it also got off right at the boat after the first mate gaffed it.   :banghead:  Oh well, that's why they call it "fishing."

Without further adoo, here's my skip jack -- at least we didn't get skunked.

If ya don't know where ya are, go back to da beginnin.

We gave it to the captian and/or first mate.  We had no means of cooking it so we just let them have it.  I really wanted to "let him have it" after dropping that maco off the gaff   :oops1:

GRUTER:  HOW BIG WAS THE MAKO?

This thing would have made Jaws swim away with his tail between its fins.   :kermit:

It was the biggest Mako I've ever seen.  :whistling:  Ok its the ONLY Mako I've ever seen   ;D  It was about 5' long - I couldn't even guess on the weight.

As far as more pictures, I wanted to see more too.     The Skip Jack was the only one we landed.  I bet the skipper ate good that night.
