2-1-08  Walleye bite has been sweet, rattle them thar  noisy jigs and they get downright aggressive.  Somewhat shallow again, 18-25 feet over bumps and structure. SHINERS ARE BACK IN, get em while you can!.  Yellows, red/yellows for the crappies.  Sunnies are on the waxies in shallower waters also, near the channels...Try the freshwater shrimp jigs, seems to be a perennial favorite..whites, glittery silvers...Northern also hot just under the ice, up in the flats mostly, but scaring kids away from holes in Lindstrom Bay too!

East Lake will see the annual Snowmobile races this weekend, taken over to Flickabirds from the old CJs site.
