Boring races?

I'm new to the sport so maybe someone can help me out. I've watched all of the Sprint Cup races and is it me or has it been incredibly boring (not so much the last race but Daytona was unbearable)?

i think these new cars of tomorrow COT, it is going to be
boring... once they get them figured out it should be better.
i hope, i hate restrictor plate racing!!
